DIY AVOCADO HAIR MASK

Hi guys,

You don’t always need a hundred dollars in your pocket for getting amazing soft and smooth hair.

The climate in Dubai and the chlorine filled water had done plenty of damage to my hair, so I decided to take things into my own hands and make a hair mask.  Now, keep in mind that I do have pretty long hair… so depending on the length and nature of your hair you may want to alter the ingredients

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:
  • Half an avocado
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 tablespoon of coconut oil (or oil of your choice)
  • Milk (depending on the consistency)

Start off by slicing half an avocado into cubes to make it easier to blend, then add some milk to it. I would recommend using room temperate milk otherwise the honey will freeze.

Next, add the coconut oil to make it easier to pour the honey.

Then blended it together until you get this runny texture.

To make it easier to apply to the hair I put the mixture in a squeeze bottle, however, you can also apply it using a brush.  Personally, I apply it to my hair section by section and leave it on for 30 minutes. I then wash it off using my shampoo and conditioner( Make sure to wash it off really well because there can be chances of finding clumps of avocado in your hair!).

With just a few steps and ingredients, we’ve got an amazing hair mask that I guarantee you will your hair sooo soft and smooth.

  1. You actually make it seem so easy along with your presentation however I to find this topic to be actually one thing that I think I’d by no means understand. It kind of feels too complex and very huge for me. I’m taking a look ahead in your next put up, I’ll attempt to get the dangle of it!

    • Hi Alex ,
Thank you for your valuable opinion .. I do feel like maybe the picture might have thrown you off a little but .. but all there is to it is throwing all the ingredients into a blender and applying it to your hair …and again you can always substitute these for the ingredients that you feel most comfortable and easy with .. once again thank you for your comment and I will try to put forward a much more easier recipe just for you .. 🙂
